Dear Friend,

Ilhan takes students seriously. She built her platform by having actual conversations with us and our peers. She’s outspoken about finding solutions to lower college costs, as well as about holding administrations accountable to make the college experience inclusive and accessible for all. When we talk, Ilhan listens.

You can vote for Ilhan right now.

We’re frustrated that Representative Kahn doesn’t seem to prioritize student voices in the same way. She doesn’t seem to think we care about issues, and consistently fails to be the strong advocate students need in the State Legislature. You can read more in our recent Op-Ed in the Minnesota Daily.

Most students graduate within four years. Student populations are transient, but issues like student debt, creating safe campus environments, and funding for scientific research are not. We’re voting for Ilhan on August 9 because she has the energy and drive to make life better for students now, and the generations of students who will come after us.

Witness that energy for yourself in the upcoming week at a Candidate Debate on August 1, Ilhan’s final Meet & Greet on August 5, or by joining our team as a volunteer!

Minnesota’s future isn’t about the past 43 years — it’s about the next two when we have an opportunity to introduce a new voice at the State Capitol. And by voting for Ilhan, we know our voices will be heard too.

We urge you to vote for Ilhan in the primary on Tuesday, August 9. Click here to find your polling place.

Forward together,
