Ilhan in three words: community, integrity, and poise.
Community has defined Ilhan’s campaign since she started running for State Representative more than nine months ago. She has a vision about what government should look like and what representation should look like, which is why Ilhan spent the first two months of her campaign listening to residents of our district. Her platform and priorities are built not only around her personal values and beliefs, but more importantly around those of the people of 60B.
I have lived here and been involved in politics my whole life, and Phyllis Kahn has never asked for my opinion on anything. She has asked for my help plenty of times, usually when there is a looming election, but never for my opinion or values. I am inspired by Ilhan's view of leadership and her approach to co-governing. Ilhan has never pandered me, she cares about my values and ideas and I know she cares about yours too.
Ilhan has tremendous poise. Though our opponent continues to belittle Ilhan and supporters like you, we are running an issue-oriented, fact and vision based campaign. That’s the type of legislator that Ilhan will be—level headed and determined to make our district better for each of us, because that’s all that matters.
Tuesday is the election. It is our chance to make our voices heard and elect the representative we deserve. You can make sure Ilhan is elected by volunteering today - contact Joelle Stangler, Field Team Coordinator: email@example.com or 763-227-5801.
